The bed was super comfy and the room was clean and tidy. The breakfast was really good, with plenty of choices like pancakes and manx kippers. The staff were all really friendly and helpful, even better. I also liked the location, just a quick walk to the sea front.
Only downside was that it was a bit hot at night and could use a fan. There were a couple of minor issues with the room that could use fixin up.

Location: the hotel was adjacent to the various railways, a bus stop for the transport to airport and the beach and promenade which provide a pleasant walk into Douglas center, or take the regular bus servive down the prom. We loved talking with pleasant and exceptional staff. The bathroom was clean, and the room itself was fairly quiet.
No negatives from this place!

very relaxing - good attentive staff and very clean pleasant rooms - very helpful with our bikes allowing us to store in a secure annex - good with local info.
whilst the hotel was good I thought the daily rate was a bit steep for a twin.

The breakfast had great variety and was always delicious.
Unfortunately, the room cleanliness left much to be desired. We found mold in the bathroom and smeared tiles that were quite off-putting. There were blood spots on the pillowcase.

Very friendly staff, breakfast was lovely and the attached bar and resturant was lovely
Currently covered in scaffolding so there was no view and you had workmen outside your bedroom window from 8am with music playing loudly.

The bedroom was of a good size and we had plenty of room to move around.
The steps leading up to the front door which were deep and without a handrail.

Very friendly staff, excellent food and real ale bar. Good location. Hotel decorated nicely throughout.
There was some noise from the bar. The room was a little cold at night.

Delicious breakfast and friendly staff
I was kinda surprised by the good breakfast-perfectly cooked traditional dishes and the option to have Manx kippers. The staff were genuinely friendly.
The room had some issues, such as old curtains that didn't block out enough light, leading to early wake-ups. The overall decor felt somewhat tired, requiring some maintenance.

I stayed for three nights in a second-floor double room. It was spacious and bright with two windows and a nice view. The breakfast had great variety and was always delicious. The staff were super friendly and professional. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the shopping areas.

warm & friendly, good real ale in bar, food good & hearty
steepish hill, further from centre than we wanted. Not easy to find as most roads had no street names.
